The recently revealed Samsung Galaxy S5 is nearing its debut and many consumers with old devices are looking to do an upgrade to this device. On the other hand, there is that second thought which tells them to settle with the Galaxy S4 instead.
Obviously, the Galaxy S5 is the better of the two since it is the latest to come from Samsung. The deciding factor will be with the size of the gap between the two devices.
In terms of display, both the Galaxy S4 and S5 share the same materials. The S5 managed to improve on its predecessors after getting its displays tuned to offer more colour contrasts and precision.
Then there is the processor. The S5 is running on a Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.6GHz with 2GB RAM. This is merely an improvement from the Snapdragon 800 found in the S4. However, it the former is still counted for being better.
The major things that are worth mentioning are with the devices’ cameras. The S5 is jam packed with a 16MP rear camera that is capable of shooting 4K UHD videos. Despite having a 13MP rear camera, the S4 is not capable of achieving UHD level.
Then there are the tech innovations in the Galaxy S5 such as the heartbeat sensor and the fingerprint scanner.
At the moment, there is an Rs10k difference between both the S5 and the S4. That is a lot of money and it is up to the consumers to decide. Is Rs10k worth the entire difference between the S5 and the S4? Share us your thoughts below.
