Samsung have remained in the headlines for a long time now and the same will occur in 2014 when Samsung launch a device that will compete with the Apple iPad Air. It is thought that Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite and the Samsung Galaxy S5. We have also heard that the company may be revealing the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 tablet.
Rumours have been going around about the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 since September of last year when the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 along with the Galaxy Gear was released. Samsung will want to launch something that will go up against the Apple iPad Air.
We did hear that Phone Arena had seen a filing for the FCC which was for the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2. It is thought that it will arrive with 3G support, along with support for 850/1900 MHz frequencies. We also heard that it could have the Snapdragon quad core processor along with 3GB of RAM and a display of 2560 x 1600.
The device may have a camera of 8MP on the back along with one of 2MP on the front and it may have Jelly Bean 4.3 installed. However KitKat 4.4 is now out.
MovePlayer showed off a render of what they said was the design of the tablet. Phone Arena said that it would be in competition with the Apple iPad Air. The Apple iPad Air has been well received by fans and there is little doubt that Samsung will want to offer something to compete against it.
There was a Bluetooth sig filing would also leads us to believe that the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2 is getting ready to launch. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition came out and fans loved it. This was due to the S Pen and many other superb features. There is no doubt that Samsung will want to launch more of the same tech, plus some enhancements, so their next tablet will be something to be reckoned with.
