A concept phone called the Samsung U1000 had been designed by Suman Chatterge. The Samsung U1000 would have the same specs as the Samsung Galaxy S4. The only different is, the U1000 won’t run on Android. The Samsung U1000 would run on Ubuntu instead.
Despite having the same specs as the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Samsung U1000 would have a totally different design. It is not too much to say that Suman Chatterge had made a good job designing this concept phone. The Samsung U1000 would have a more premium look compared to the other Samsung smartphones. The Samsung U1000 would have a metal camera strip on the rear side of it. From the side, the U1000 would look something like an iPhone while on the front side there was no physical button and would depend on gestures instead.
The Ubuntu Touch OS is fancied by those who love to tweak their smartphones freely. The U1000 is pretty similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4, but it runs on Ubuntu instead and this is almost the same with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Activ S. The Samsung Activ S is pretty much the same as the Samsung Galaxy S3 but it offers users Windows mobile OS instead.
If Samsung ever made a smartphone something like the Samsung U1000, which runs on Ubuntu, will you get one?
