At the beginning of the year, fans of the Google Nexus brand made their desires clear. Aside from improvements to the Nexus designs, the fans wish for a new smartphone every year. As for tablets, the expectations are kept at 2 devices a year.
Being a device that bears the Google badge, there can be little wrong that can come from them. Heck, Nexus devices have the perks of being at the frontline of every new things. With the Google Glass and Google Watch close to their respective release, it will be the Nexus users that will get them first.
On the downside of things, it seems that the Android OS on the Nexus is somewhat plain. Unlike its competitors, there is no user interface on the Nexus which makes it boring. With Google technological knowledge, they can simply introduce their own exclusive UI to the Nexus which will give it an edge over other smartphones.
As of today, there is still no word on the Nexus 10 2 or even the Nexus 6. However, fans believe that both devices will be making their debut at the end of the year.
