This week in New York, Samsung stepped out to unveil their new Samsung Gear Fit 2. The successor to Gear Fit will come with an upgrade hardware and software.
One of the new features that the Samsung Gear Fit 2 will be coming in is the new built-in GPS features which will allow the device to track your location at all times. You can then view the path you’ve traveled.
The Samsung Gear Fit 2 is also rated IP68 which means you can use it in the rain. The smartwatch will also come with 4GB of storage.
Samsung also made some important changes to Tizen. The user won’t have to tilt their head to read the content anymore as the upgrade software will show you the content in full portrait view.
Pre-orders will start right now. The new Samsung Gear Fit 2 will retail for $179 and will be officially released on the 10th of June.
