It took Samsung a few months to get to the bottom of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 issue and not only did they explain what happened to the Note 7 but they also reveal their new battery check to ensure that the same thing does not happen in the future.
The new battery check is called the 8-point battery check which all battery will be subjected to before they are fitted into the device. According to Samsung, the 8-point battery check will include a durability test, visual inspection, X-ray, charge and Discharge test, TVOC test, disassembling test, accelerated usage test as well as OCV test.
The list of test should helo ensure they got all aspect of the battery inspected before the device is shipped out. With the Samsung Galaxy S8 about to be release, Samsung will need to show their customers that they are doing all they can to make sure the S8 is safer and more reliable.
