With a price tag like that, people would think that the Xiaomi Mi5 is a mid-range model but one look at the spec sheet and it is easy to see that the Mi5 is no mid-range, it fact, it is as good as some of the premium smartphones in the market. Will premium smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S7 be able to take on the Xiaomi Mi5?
The Xiaomi Mi5 comes with a 5.2inch display screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 and 428ppi. The new flagship will come running on the Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Besides coming in with a new fingerprint sensor, the device will also be fitted with a 16MP main camera and a 4MO secondary camera. The device will be powered by a 3000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with a 5inch display screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 and 576ppi. The Galaxy S7 will be running on the Exynos 8 octa 8890 chip or the Snapdragon 820 depending on which region you are in. It will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will be equipped with a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
Looking at what they both have to offer, we can’t help but feel that the Samsung Galaxy S7 might be a little overpriced.
