A small number of Samsung Galaxy S7 users started receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat update last week as part of Samsung’s soak test and now, Samsung is ready to release the update to the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge devices.
The update will not only come with the new OS from Google but it will also bring in a new interface as well as a list of new features. Some of the existing features like the multi-window feature and Quick Setting will also be upgraded.
The update will come with Android latest security patch but bear in mind that this is still not the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat update. The update will roll out in stages so you might have to wait a little longer before you receive the update.
Those running the pre-release version will get a 214MB update but those that does not have the pre-release version should expect to see an even bigger file size.
