We are a week away from the arrival of the Apple iPhone 6 and rumours have gone rife on the highly anticipated device. Samsung fans are threatened by the iPhone 6’s coming and they have since dig out the rumours for the future Galaxy S6. While both devices are not out yet, we have decided to compare them with the speculations in our hands.
Looking at the iPhone 6, the smartphone is going to come with a larger IGZO retina display. Also, the device is going to come with a new and improved home button, together with support for gesture control. Of course, there will obviously be some improvements with the iPhone 6’s speed, battery life and performance.
The display in particular will come in two variants. One will measure at 4.7” while the other measures at 5.7”. The latter in particular will have a higher resolution and borderless display. The screen will rest on a stronger aluminium body. As for cameras, the iPhone 6 is tipped to continue with the 8MP shooter but it will be fine-tuned to perform like a high-end digital camera.
Then there is the Samsung Galaxy S6. The device is expected to come in Q2 next year which is still far away from now. As such, there aren’t much rumours going around on the smartphone. All that is said is that the S6 will come with a much improved 20MP camera that will replace the 16MP variant on the existing Samsung Galaxy S5.
