Here in the world of technology, time actually flies. About 2 months ago, Samsung launched the all-new Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge, which are currently the most powerful smartphones around. Despite that fact, the buzz is already beginning on next year’s smartphone, the Galaxy S6.
Speculations on the latter have already surfaced and they suggest that the S6 will come with Quad HD display where resolution runs at 2,560×1440. There has yet to be any word on the screen size but we can expect it to measure around the 5.2” mark like the S5.
Cameras will obviously be upgraded for the S6. Consumers can look forward to a rear camera that offers more than 16MP and a front camera that is at least 5MP.
As for the processor, the S6 is tipped to run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. Of course, the S6 will also come with another variant which runs on the Samsung-made Exynos 7420 chipset. Regardless, both processors are 64-bit and they will look to offer better software to hardware integration.
While all of the above might sound exciting, they are still considered a rumour and it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. In short, the S6 is either equal to the Note 4’s offering or better.
