As much as consumers love the latest Samsung Galaxy S6, they were put off from purchasing the device due to the fact that it comes with a smaller battery capacity, hence, a shorter battery life. In addition to that, a big portion of the consumers don’t quite favour the glass casing.
This explains why the anticipation is strong for the S6’s rugged variant, the S6 Activ. While Samsung has yet to share any details on the Active, rumours are rife in revealing the device’s specifications.
The word is that the S6 Activ will be coming with a 5.1” QHD display and it will be powered by the Exynos 7420 processor with 3GB of RAM. In addition to that, the S6 Activ will feature 32GB of fixed internal storage.
To complete the sweet deal, the S6 Activ is said to come with a large 3500mAh battery. Also, the fact that the smartphone is going to be the durable version of the original S6, it won’t be coming with glass casing.
Of course, the above are still based on rumours and it is best to be taken with a pinch of salt. Only time will tell if Samsung does produces the Galaxy S6 Activ.
