Samsung has recently unveiled the Galaxy S5 smartphone and there is no denying that it is the most powerful device yet.
The Galaxy S5 is running on the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz with 2GB RAM. This is more than enough to run every heavyweight apps out there. On top of that, multitasking will be a breeze.
The Galaxy S5 is also equipped with plenty of new and improved features. There is a fingerprint scanner with i-Banking capabilities and also a whopping 16MP rear camera with 4K video recording function. Also, there is a heartbeat sensor which is rather useful to keep users fit and healthy.
These are all great functions coming with super high-end hardwares which consumers should capitalize. The S5 has a price tag of about $900 which is relatively cheaper to the S4 when it got released. Even Apple fans should make the jump to the S5.
It is true that the Apple will definitely match the S5 with the upcoming iPhone 6. However, we are still 6 months away from the iPhone 6’s release. On top of that, Apple is not the sort which focuses so much on hardwares. Of course, the iPhone 6 is expected to feature all the new innovations from Apple but with that aside, the upcoming device will only be on-par with the S5.
If the operating system is the main concern, the S5 is running on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is so powerful. It is the best Android has to offer and it equals to the iOS 7.1.
All in all, the S5 is definitely the phone to get. Why wait 6 months for something that can be acquired today? The only difference is the OS and both are great in their own way.
