Just a month ago, Samsung launched the all-new Galaxy S6 and it is currently the best smartphone in history. For those that are looking for a cheap escape, the old Galaxy S5 is now more affordable than ever.
Heck, the S5 is still a great smartphone to own. The device features a 5.1” 1080p display that runs at 1080p while being powered by the Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM. Of course, this is nowhere near the new standards set by the S6 but it is still better than most mid-range and old flagship devices out there.
There are some ways where the S5 is more appealing than the new S6 and it is with the microSD card slot. Such a feature basically gives the user an expandable storage option and this is absent on the S6. Furthermore, the S5 has a longer lasting, removable battery.
These sums up the fact that the S5 is still a great smartphone to own and consumers are highly encourage to purchase one if they want to.
