While the fans might be disappointed with this, a new rumour has surfaced which hints that the QHD will be coming to the next Samsung device called the Galaxy S5 Prime. It seems that Samsung find it too costly to give the original S5 QHD display. As such, this new model will be filling the rumoured specs.
The Galaxy S5 Prime is touted to arrive in June, which raised some eyebrows. It is only two months after the S5’s release which left consumers wondering on how the short duration can influence the pricing of the device.
It appears that there won’t be any changes to the cost. Instead, Samsung will make the S5 Prime at a small quantity and will release it to selected countries. This is not new as the same was done with the Galaxy Round which features a curved screen. The bad news is that the Galaxy Round is an epic fail and the Galaxy S5 Prime is expected to repeat those failures.
On the other hand, we won’t know for sure until the S5 Prime gets released. Although Samsung has yet to announce anything official on this exclusive smartphone, we will continue to monitor its development and keep you updated accordingly.
