Samsung may put the Samsung Galaxy S5 on hold while they work on another device. We have also heard rumours that the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 could have a lot in common as the two devices could share some of the same features.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5 may arrive with an identical camera, which may be 16MP. The Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 2 had the same camera so there is no reason not to think that this will not happen again this year when the new handsets are released.
To back this up Samsung has ordered 181 million 16MP camera modules, which suggest they are going to be used on devices this year. It has been said that the camera could have Optical image stabilisation; however it isn’t known if this would apply to both the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy S5.
We did hear that wireless charging could arrive this year and there has been a rumour from GalaxyS5Info about the possibility of a fingerprint scanner on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and S5.
ET News in Korea have said that Samsung have been working on wireless technology, they are in league with PowerByProxy.
Meanwhile TechRadar said that the tech would be ready to use in handsets by the middle of 2014 and this could be too late for us to see it used in the Samsung Galaxy S5.
We have not heard anything about what operating system may be used in the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but the latest OS from Google is Android KitKat 4.4.
Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be happy to hear that GottaBeMobile told us that Samsung have been testing KitKat 4.4 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
SlashGear have said the first device to get KitKat 4.4 installed could be the Google Play Samsung Galaxy S4.
Bear in mind that none of this has been confirmed and at the moment it is just speculation by the blogs. Samsung have not even announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or Samsung Galaxy S5 yet.
