Samsung could be concentrating on more than just the Samsung Galaxy S5 this year. We have also heard that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 could have many things in common.
Rumours have been floating around the net for some time about the two handsets and here are some of the things that we could see on the Galaxy devices this year.
It has been said that both Samsung handsets may have a camera of 16MP. This would be in-line with previous years as we have seen the two devices share the same camera module. The Samsung Galaxy S5 and Note 4 could be the same this year. What we don’t know is whether they would both offer OIS.
We have heard that both devices could have wireless charging and fingerprint scanner, this came about courtesy of GalaxyS5Info.
The Korean website ET News said that Samsung had been working with wireless tech for their devices in the future, they are working alongside PowerByProxy.
TechRadar also said that the tech may be ready by the middle of this year, but that it might not be ready in time for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
We have no idea what OS the handsets may have. At the moment the latest is KitKat 4.4 but Google could launch a newer OS.
GottaBeMobile said that they thought Samsung had been testing KitKat 4.4 on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Meanwhile SlashGear pointed out that they thought the first device to get KitKit 4.4 may be the Google Play Samsung Galaxy S4.
Of course right now all of this is pure speculation as Samsung haven’t announced the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.
