Samsung had just launched a new small-time update for the Galaxy S5 smartphone and it is meant to take away the Interruption system from Google. Apparently, most S5 users were caught off-guard when they learn that the silent mode also ceases every alarm and vibration.
Now that the update is out, users can switch to Silent Mode without any worries as the feature comes with the old definition of vibrate-only.
Of course, the update is only meant for the G900F version of the S5 only and that is the Snapdragon-powered international model. Upon applying the update, users will see their firmware jumping to version G900FXXU1BOB7, and the underlying system is still Android 5.0.
Samsung has launched the update in the UK earlier today and now the South Korean tech giant will look to release it in Europe first before reaching out to the rest of the world.
