The Galaxy S5 is certainly making a name for itself. Come April 11, this state-of-the-art smartphone will be making its debut and it won’t come alone. Today, a leak has surfaced revealing another device that will accompany the Galaxy S5.
This device is known as the Galaxy S5 Mini. Similar to how it was with the Galaxy S4 Mini, this upcoming device will be a downsized alternative to the Galaxy S5 smartphone.
The leak revealed that the Galaxy S5 will have a 4.5inch 720p HD screen. As for the processor, there is no confirmation but the leak suggests it to be the Snapdragon 400 with 1.5GB RAM. There will also be an 8MP camera with 2MP front facing camera. Other features include 16GB internal storage, IR Blaster and a 2,100 battery.
It is unsure about the innovations on the Galaxy S5 but it is safe to assume that the S5 Mini won’t feature the heartbeat sensor and the fingerprint scanner.
If the leak is true, then the Galaxy S5 Mini is a disgrace. Despite having a well-built specs, the term Mini means small and having a 4.5inch screen won’t live up to its name. Just like the new Mini Cooper cars, the Galaxy S5 Mini makers should start opening up their dictionary.
