It was just last week when we heard from Samsung about an LTE A enabled version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 that was making its way out with a display of QHD along with the Snapdragon 805 chipset. This was said to be arriving in Korea only. Now we have heard that there could be a Special Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE with a back panel that has been redesigned heading to the carrier KT in Korea.
The back has a diamond like texture panel and it seems to have the branding of Olleh. The internals are said to be the same as the regular LTE A version of the handset.
We saw benchmarks on AnTuTu that were said to be the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE A, this had the codename of SM-G906S. However it didn’t produce figures from the Snapdragon 805 that were mind boggling.
So it could be that the performance of the processor does get affected by the QHD display or the numbers come from a build that isn’t final.
For the time being you should take the leaks with a pinch of salt.
