Samsung Galaxy S5 Hidden Functions Many Are Not Aware Of

Earlier this year, Samsung unleashed their latest flagship device, the Galaxy S5. The smartphone might not be as great as the HTC One M8, or the LG G3, but the fact that the S5 has got more functions to offer puts it ahead of the competition. Today, we are going to look at some of the things you can do with the S5 that even you are not aware of.

One Handed Mode
The S5 has a big screen which seems impossible to operate with one hand. However, you can head down to the Display settings and scale down the screen size to make this possible.

Screen Sensitivity Booster
When in the extreme cold environment, it seems that there is no way to operate the S5 with your gloves on. This is now possible by going to the Display settings, and increase the screen’s sensitivity.

Blocking Mode
Activating it from the Quick Settings Menu will prevent any disturbance by alarms, phone calls, and messages.

Disable My Magazine
The annoying widget on the home screen is something unneeded and can be removed by long tap the home screen before unchecking the feature.

Screen Indicator
With so many apps in the S5, it can be annoying to scroll through the app pages. You can skip the flipping by tapping on the number below the app page to perform a quick page jump.

S Finder
This tool basically searches for every single file in the Samsung Galaxy S5.

Different Wallpaper For Different Screens
The S5 allows you to use different wallpapers for you home screen and your lock screen.

S Voice
With Google Now, S Voice seems unneeded at all. Open up the S Voice settings and disable the wake up via home button option to remove it.

OK Google
Whenever you spot a Google Search bar on your screen, speak out ‘OK Google’ to use a speech-based search. You can also make calls and send messages with it.

Toolbox
Designed like Facebook’s chat header, this tool actually offers shortcuts that are customizable.
