The next step will be with the System Tuner app. However, this app requires some rooting to be obtained. With it, users can kill the bug once and for all without having to wait for the fix.
Aside from all of the above, the only other way is to wait for the fix to be rolled out by Google. If so, then S4 users can look forward to Android KitKat 4.4.3 OS.
