We heard that Apple could launch the iPhone in two versions this year. This could be a phone with a display of 4.7 inches and one with 5.5 inches. The leaks gave case designers a heads up and it went on to spawn many concepts.
If Apple launches the iPhone 6 it will be in competition with the LG G2, LG G3 and the HTC One M8, along with the Motorola Moto X and Samsung Galaxy S5.
We have seen a render and this suggests that the device will be bigger than the iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5S comes in at 59, 2mm wide with a 16:9. The 4.7 model will be 58, 5mm wide.
Both devices are not symmetrical and if Apple launches a device with the display of 4.7 inches, it would come in larger than the LG G2 Mini and the Motorola X. both handsets have on-screen buttons and this means that the bezel has been reduced.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 and the HTC One M8 will be larger in comparison to the 4.7 inch version. The handset would feature the IP67 rating or speakers in the bezel.
Some people have said that the iPhone 6 will not be appealing in comparison to other handsets, this is the 4.7 render. The phablet edition will be a fresh move, but Apple hasn’t provided any final details.
Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities thinks that the iPhone 6 could hurt the sales of the iPad if they should launch a larger display version.
