Now, this nightmare is over if you’re a Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Note 3, S3 or S4 user. To break the shackles and chains tied to your device, follow the instruction below.
1. Change the SIM card to that of other carrier on the device. Be sure to switch the device off first before doing so. Once done, turn it on.
2. Key in *#197328640# on your dial pad.
3. Once a prompt appear, Go to the main menu > [1] UMTS > [1] Debug Screen > [8] Phone Control > [6] Network Lock > Options [3] Perso SHA256 OFF
4. Wait about 30 seconds to a minute.
5. Go back to your main menu and choosing “back”. You will now see a “Network Lock” message. Choose [4] NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ.
6. A prompt will appear quoting “Asterisk Pound One Nine Seven Three Two Eight Six Four Zero Pound”. Remember that some people call the asterisk “star”, and the pound button “hash”.
There you have it. An unlocked device that is free from any carrier. The evil corporation won’t be too happy about thee leak unlock codes.
