Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop Update Available Now

Samsung created headlines when they launched the all-new Galaxy Note Edge back in September last year. Unlike every other smartphone, the Edge comes with an added curve-side display and this made it extra popular and special.

Soon, Note Edge users can get more out of their device as Samsung is lining up the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for it. Unfortunately, Samsung is moving at a sluggish pace and there is no telling on when the update will get released.

On the other hand, Note Edge users can now skip the wait after XDA launched a ROM containing the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop for the device. While still in its Beta build, the ROM is said to come from Samsung and it is completed with the latest TouchWiz UI.

Of course, Note Edge users are required to apply the ROM manually but the upside to this is that doing so won’t void the warranty. Also, the ROM is only compatible with the SM-N915FY and the N915F models.

So if you are a user of either variant of the Note Edge, then you can head down to XDA for the installation files and installation tutorial. As mentioned before, the ROM is still in its Beta build so there are bound to be some issues that comes with it.
