The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users were expecting to get their Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update the same time as the Samsung Galaxy S6 but that did not happen. While carriers start rolling out the update for the Galaxy S6, the Note 5 are left wondering when their upgrades was going to arrive.
While the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update is no big update, it does come with a few new features. The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow will come with an additional Quick Settings toggles in the status bar under Private Mode.
There is also the new emojis that Google announced not too long ago. The update will also bring in new features like the new Tasks Edge panel and more. There is no word on how long more the Note 5 users will have to wait for the update arrive but some believe we should be seeing the upgrade next month.
