Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Or S5: Which One’s You?

Both the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 are two of the best smartphones from last year. The former was released in Q2 2014 while the latter arrived in Q4 2014. Despite sharing tons of similarities, both smartphones are tailored to meet different needs.

For starters, the Galaxy Note 4 came out with a large 5.7” display that runs on QHD resolution of 2,560×1,440. This is sharper than the Galaxy S5 5.1” display that runs at 1080p only.

Being newer, the Galaxy Note 4 runs on the latest 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 420 GPU. The S5 is a half-step behind as it runs on the older 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 330 GPU. Both devices have support for microSD of up to 128GB. Also, they are equipped with the same 16MP rear camera.

While the Note 4 might be a phablet, it does not mean that the device can’t last long. Apparently, the 3220mAh battery on the Note 4 is able to last slightly longer than the 2880mAh battery on the Samsung Galaxy S5.

With that being said, there is no doubt that the Note 4 is better than the S5. However, the difference is very narrow and considering that the Note 4 cost 50% more than the S5, it makes the latter more desirable. Besides, it is easier to hold the Samsung Galaxy S5.
