Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Security Failure Leads To New Patch

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is regarded as one of the best smartphones back in 2012 and despite its age; the device is still getting supported by Google.

This is evident when US carrier, Sprint, launched an emergency update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to address the growing security concerns with the smartphone. The update was launched OTA and Note 2 users can apply the small-time patch automatically.

When downloaded, the update will see the Note 2’s firmware running on version L900VPUCNK2. Unfortunately, neither Sprint nor Samsung managed to share the changelog of the update. When questioned, both parties simply called it to address a security loophole.
