The latest Android KitKat 4.4 is able to support devices with low memory. On the other hand, Samsung has a liking to cease all updates for its devices from the past.
Now, a leak document has surfaced claiming that the Galaxy S3 international version, Note 2 and Grand 2 Duos will all be updated. It seems that the document was leaked from an insider working at Samsung.
A screenshot of the document revealed that the update will be rolled out in between April and May. We expect it to happen at least after the Samsung Galaxy S5 gets distributed.
It is unsure if the document is a hoax or the real thing. This is due to a mistake which quoted the Note 2 to be SM-N7100 instead of GT-N7100. Typing error is rare to go by in an official document from a mega corporation. As such, it is wise to take this with a grain of salt.
