Over the past couple of weeks, the attention on the latest Samsung Galaxy S5 has been shifted to the Galaxy Note 2. This old phablet got caught in a confusion where some reports claim that Samsung never intend to update the Note 2.
On the other hand, most reports read that the Note 2 is part of the Android 4.4.2 KitKat plans. This is looking to come through. The KitKat for the South Korean variant of the Galaxy Note 2 has been spotted. Under to OS section in GFXBench, it reveals the KitKat for the model SHV-E250.
Despite not being an international model, it is a good sign for the Note 2 community. Other new rumours also suggest that Samsung is getting certification for the Galaxy Note 2 update. It seems that the KitKat will be looking to complete its roll out before the end of the month.
Of course, these are still based on rumours and are best taken with a pinch of salt. If it is to be true, then the Galaxy Note 2 is the oldest device to receive the KitKat update.
