The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 might be of age now but back when it was first released, the device was touted to be one of the best phablets around. Then again, how will it fare against the slightly newer, LG G2?
Obviously, the Galaxy Mega is larger as it is built with a 6.3” LCD screen that offers 233ppi. While it might look great, it is far behind the G2’s 5.2” LCD display that produces 423ppi.
The LG G2 is built for speed as it runs on the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB RAM. The Mega is rather slow with its Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1.5GB RAM.
Even on cameras, the LG G2 13MP rear shooter triumph against the 8MP camera on the Galaxy Mega. Nevertheless, both devices are capable of recording videos at 1080p.
All in all, the LG G2 is a far more superior device than the Galaxy Mega 6.3. In the world of smartphones, the G2 is like David winning the fight against Goliath.
