Polaris has shown us another teaser. The teaser is a video about their forthcoming reverse trike.
Rumors have been going around for quite a while suggesting that Polaris are working for a rival company for a three and possibly four heel machile produced by Campagna KTM or CAN-AM, however the rumors went even further suggesting that the images which were designed for filing a patent were leaked into the media’s hands.
The name of the project is the Slingshot project and although the project is not a secret anymore, the majority of information about it is still unknown. At this moment in time the details we do know is that the slingshot will be powered by a 2.4 liter Ecotec lump. The engine should be able to offer 180hp and 233Nm of torque. If this is indeed the case then the car is going to be a very exciting vehicle.
Details about the Slingshot’s drive system haven’t been announced yet, but a lot of people believe it will be a front-wheel-drive architecture. The video about the Polaris didn’t give us many clues on the car’s appearance.
We are able to take a look at the inside dash. In the video we are able to see a meter of 6,500rpm which could be an indication that the car is a high performance vehicle. At this moment in time all we can do is wait to find out more.
