It is obvious that the fans have been split into two when it comes to the new Resident Evil 7.
The new trailer and demo of the Resident Evil 7 game showed that the developers are looking to slow things down and scale down the size of the game. The demo suggests that the game will be set in the house which does bring us back to the good old days. We also like the whole creeping around and sneaking about gameplay.
Based on the demo, it looks like we might be facing more than just zombies this time as there might be some paranormal elements included as well and while we are not sure how they are able incorporate that into the game, we think it does add another level of intensity to the game.
There are of course other who think that the Resident Evil 7 will be the death of the franchise. In the demo, the players were never given a gun and is now assuming that this is how the game is going to be. Lots of sneaking around and hiding and it looks like they are not a fan of that.
They also did not like the fact that the game went from a scientific zombie game to a horror paranormal game.
