Resident Evil 7 is under development at the moment and we have heard a lot of talk about whether the game should revert to the more traditional gameplay or if the game should go down the revolutionary gameplay path.
Gamers have been taking part in discussions and it seems that the answer is fairly simple. Not all of the gamers are unhappy with the new features that came into Resident Evil 4. All gamers want out of the game is an experience that is thrilling, a plot that offers plenty of mystery and a game that filled with horror.
The more traditional gamers made it known to Capcom that they were not happy, but it seems that the developer hasn’t taken a great deal of notice.
Gamers who are new to Resident Evil have said that Capcom jumped to putting the focus more on shooting, this could be down to the fact that usually shooting games are more popular.
Resident Evil 7 has been in development for some time and Capcom could risk turning traditional gamers away. Perhaps they could come up with a balance between traditional and new gameplay?
