It is no secret that Capcom is currently producing the next Resident Evil sequel and it is tentatively known as Resident Evil 7. Now, fans of the series can start celebrating as Resident Evil 7 might be made as a horror title instead of an action title.
This was suggested after a screenshot of Resident Evil 7 got leaked online and it shows the plot returning to Racoon City. For those that are not clear on this, Racoon City is the location for the first Resident Evil trilogy where horror is the religion.
Following the first trilogy, Resident Evil 4 completely changed everything when they adopt a more fast-paced action-packed gameplay. This dragged on all the way until Resident Evil 6.
If the leak is true, then Capcom is finally listening to the majority of the fans that would love to enjoy a game which is full of suspense, jump scares and more. Perhaps, Resident Evil 7 is that solution.
