The Resident Evil series has been a subject of dispute ever since the last trilogy was completed. It seems that majority of the fans are unhappy with the direction Resident Evil series is going.
Back on the first trilogy, Resident Evil was a horrifying title which appeals to the fear-seeking gamers. The second trilogy was totally different as Capcom made it a fast-paced all-action game.
Despite the criticism on the game developer, it seems that Capcom is planning to announce on Resident Evil 7. The latest Resident Evil 6 has been the worst experience for the fans and they fear that it is going to go further downhill with Resident Evil 7.
However, this is still based on speculation as nothing official has been revealed by Capcom. The big hint came when the game developer launched the Resident Evil app on its official Facebook page. It is a common move practiced widely by game developers whenever the brand reaches a milestone.
Nevertheless, the obvious are bound to happen. Capcom will definitely announce Resident Evil 7 in the coming weeks. Let’s just hope that the game developer listen to the fans this time round.
