It is no secret that the Resident Evil series is struggling to make an impact the gaming industry ever since it received a genre change since Resident Evil 4. Clearly, the fans are not happy with the fast paced action genre that was implemented since Resident Evil 4.
Now that Resident Evil 6 is a closed chapter, Capcom has finally snapped out of it and decided to listen to the fans. The game developer is aware of the criticism aimed at it and hence, promises to make up for it.
Now, the word is out on Resident Evil 7 that is going to restore the declining series back to its glory days. However, Resident Evil 7 won’t feature any new plot. Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil 7 will instead be the remake of the first trilogy where horror is the way of the game.
When Resident Evil 7 gets released, it will be making its debut on the Xbox One and PS4. As such, the game is going to exhibit some of the best graphics in the business. Unfortunately, Capcom has failed to share on when Resident Evil 7 will get released.
