Capcom has already confirmed that it is currently developing Resident Evil 7. Well, this upcoming sequel is going to be huge as it built on the horror genre instead of being yet another third-person shooter in the series.
While Capcom has yet to share anything on this, a leak screenshot of Resident Evil 7 showed that the game will be returning to Racoon City. This was the location back in the first Resident Evil trilogy and back then, things were horrifying.
With that in mind, there is a chance for Resident Evil 7 to come with elements of horror. If so, then gone are the days where Resident Evil players become part of a linear adventure where things are fast-paced and action pack.
