There are many reasons to why gamers should look forward to Resident Evil 7 and among them is due to the game returning to its horror roots.
This was suggested after a screenshot of Resident Evil 7 got leaked online and it shows the game taking place in Racoon City.
If you are new to the series, Racoon City is the location of the first Resident Evil trilogy. Back then, the series were exciting as it is full of jump scares, spooky puzzles and tons of thrilling missions to complete.
With Resident Evil 7 returning the location, the title might just scrap the existing fast-paced action gameplay and return to the series’ traditional roots.
Then again, there is no way to prove on how legit the leaked screenshot is so it is best to take the above with a pinch of salt. Only time will tell on how Resident Evil 7 is going to be like.
