Resident Evil 7 is currently being developed by Capcom and the rumours are rife in indicating that the game is going to return to the series horror roots.
Now, this claim is further supported by a leak screenshot o Resident Evil 7 which saw the game being set in Racoon City. If you are a Resident Evil purist, then you should know that Racoon City is the location for first Resident Evil trilogy.
Back then, everything revolves around horror and it strongly hints on Resident Evil 7 to come with the horror genre as well. If so, you will have a reason to be excited since this will see the end of the fast-paced action gameplay that has been the way since Resident Evil 4.
Of course, we can’t be certain just yet. With E3 happening next month, we can expect Capcom to unveil Resident Evil 7’s trailer and only then will we know if it is going to be terrifying or not.
