Resident Evil 7 is already confirmed to be in production and fans of the franchise are encouraged to anticipate this future sequel. While not much was shared by Capcom, a leak screenshot of the game revealed that Resident Evil 7 will be taking players back in time.
In detail, the screenshot claims that Resident Evil 7 will actually be called Resident Evil Zero and it will be a remake of the series’ first trilogy all wrapped into a single title. If this is true, then Resident Evil 7 will definitely not be a fast-paced action game but instead, a mysterious, thrilling, gruesome and horrifying game in every way.
This is something that most of the fans have been hoping for ever since the Resident Evil franchise changed its genre back in Resident Evil 4. The upcoming Resident Evil Zero will be the first title from the franchise to make its debut on both the Xbox One and PS4, thus, the horror experience will be in full HD.
On the downside of things, nobody but Capcom has a clue on when Resident Evil 7 will get released. Nevertheless, fans can expect the game to offer a thoroughly immersive experience that has been missing in the last three titles.
