Some might say that Capcom is doing us all a favor by releasing the Resident Evil 2 Remake version while other prefer to call it a desperate call for help.
It is no secret that the fans have not been very happy with Capcom. The last few games were often describe as flops and fans have been coming down hard on Capcom for releasing Resident Evil games that are far from impressive.
So what do you do when everything does not seem to be working out? Well, you bring back games that worked and pray that the fans will calm down while you figure out how to move on from there.
Capcom might be running out of idea and are hoping that the Resident Evil 2 Remake would give them some clues about what their fans wants and work on the next game based on that.
Some believe that we will be seeing the Resident Evil 2 Remake at E3 2016 before Resident Evil 7.
