The Unlock-Jailbreak.net crew has come back in style, as it’s launched the SoftRa1n 0.6 untethered unlocking jailbreak for iOS 7 on the iPhone 5, 4 and 4S, according to Tottenham News (TN).
This release helps you to hacktivate and unlock your iOS 7 device, and it’s believed to be the first untethered jailbreak that has working Cydia and MobileSunstrate for iOS 7 devices.
Fast Unlock is behind this SoftRa1n jailbreak and unlocking hack for the iOS 7 iPhones 5, 4S, 4 and 3GS. It works on the iPhone 3 and 3GS so that you can control the phone better, according to TN. The software means that you can do an untethered jailbreak on an iOS 7 handset, and the fact that it’s untethered means you don’t have to run it every time you boot your phone up. It can unlock the iPhones 5, 4S, 4 and 3GS (as long as they’re on iOS 7), so they can be used on different GSM carriers around the world.

The software is believed to be based on a low-level bootrom exploit that Apple can’t patch in a firmware update.
