The arrival of the Google Nexus 5 last year became a game changer for both the smartphone manufacturer and local carrier, Verizon. Both firms have got a rocky relationship in the past but it was quickly forgotten when Verizon started selling the Nexus 5 last year.
Now that the Nexus 6 is out, many have been wondering on why Verizon is not selling it since launching day. Well, we have discovered that this is because the carrier wishes to carefully plan on the sales strategy for the Nexus 6 instead of blindly releasing it to the masses.
Furthermore, Verizon teased yesterday that there will be a limited edition, red coloured Nexus 6 offered by them. The Verizon-exclusive Nexus 6 should make up for the carrier’s lateness in offering the device.
With that being said, consumers on Verizon should refrain from switching networks just for the sake of the Nexus 6. While the Big Red carrier might be late to offer the smartphone, the limited edition Nexus 6 is worth the anticipation.
