Aside from GTA, there has yet to be a AAA gaming series to get produced by Rocksstar. Well, this fact will soon change as the success of GTA 5 has prompted Rockstar to start working on a sequel of its other AAA title.
This was unofficially confirmed by a leak discovered at Feinstein’s LinkedIn profile page. The senior engineer from Rockstar that was part of the crew that developed the Max Payne series teased that he is working on a sequel of a well-known IP.
Based on what was quoted by Feinstein, we believe that the sequel could either be for Manhunt, Bully or Red Dead Redemption. As great as the first two titles are, it is Red Dead Redemption that I favourites to get a sequel.
The game was the second best thing produced by Rockstar, behind GTA, as it takes players to the old Wild West where cowboys and savages ruled the land. Even fans couldn’t agree more that Red Dead Redemption 2 should be in production.
Of course, it is still not revealed on whether the sequel in question is Red Dead Redemption 2. Regardless, rumours are hinting the game to arrive next year, which means that we should be hearing more about it in Q1 2015.
