There is no denying the fact that GTA 5 is the bestselling game in history. Now, it seems that Rockstar wishes to replicate the success of the GTA series, with one of their other IP.
This was teased by Rockstar’s senior engineer Feinstein. The lad, who was part of the team that produced the Max Payne series, revealed on his LinkedIn page that he is working on a sequel of a well-known IP. Unfortunately, Feinstein failed to go into specifics like sharing the name of the game.
It is difficult to figure out on which game Feinstein is referring to. Rockstar has produced plenty of superb titles such as Manhunt, Bully and Red Dead Redemption. Even so, we believe that it will be the latter.
Red Dead Redemption was an enormous success when it first made its debut. Much like the GTA series, Red Dead Redemption offers an open-world gameplay set in the old Wild West. The game was so great that it deserves a sequel.
There is another rumour doing the rounds and it is suggesting that the mysterious sequel is due to arrive in autumn next year. If this is true, then Rockstar will surely announce on Red Dead Redemption 2 early next year.
