If you have been following Rockstar, then you should know that the game developer is currently producing a sequel of a highly successful IP. At least, that was what Rockstar senior engineer, Feinstein, said on his LinkedIn profile months ago.
The leak information was then followed by never-ending rumours linking the mysterious title to Red Dead Redemption 2. Even Baird Equity Research analyst, Colin Sebastian, believes it to be the sequel to Red Dead Redemption.
Colin revealed that the latter is Rockstar’s second biggest selling title, behind GTA. If there is an existing IP that needs a sequel, it is Red Dead Redemption.
Colin then went on to share that the highly anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 will be the first title from the franchise that will make its debut on both the Xbox One and PS4. Before Colin left, he tipped Red Dead Redemption 2 to arrive in late November next year.
It is unsure on where Colin got the release date information from, thus making it important to take it with a pinch of salt.
