This information is actually based from a Reddit user, which states the possibility of next game to be set 12 years prior to Red Dead Redemption. The user also added that the upcoming title of the game would be “Red Dead Redemption 2: Legends of the West”, and that the protagonist in the game would be a recurring role, as this makes sense since it might be set 12 years in prior. We’re not entirely sure how the fans might react to this.
Others also speculate the possible plot for Red Dead Redemption 2. One suggests that it might be set in Japan, which seems highly unlikely since the game’s always had a Western setting, whereas others have it that it will be set in the Western part of the country and shall move towards the East.
