It wasn’t that long ago when Rockstar’s president, Leslie Benzies, hinted that the company will be making sequels from its existing IPs. Today, Feinstein revealed that the game’s development is already in progress.
For those who have not heard of Feinstein, he is a senior engineer for Rockstar and was responsible for creating the Max Payne series.
While there are already many IPs from Rockstar, it seems that Red Dead Redemption 2 is the obvious title that the game developer is working on. The old Red Dead Redemption game has enjoyed tremendous success and it is right behind the GTA series in terms of popularity. Truly, Red Dead Redemption deserves a sequel.
Of course, it could still be Bully 2 or even Manhunt 2. Both of these great titles also deserve a sequel but that can only happen after Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out.
This highly anticipated title will take players back to the Wild West where they start their cowboy adventure. If the above are spot on, Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to be ready as early as autumn. One thing is for sure and it is that the game will debut on the next-gen consoles.
