If you think that the GTA franchise is the only great thing to come from Rockstar, you might not have heard of Red Dead Redemption. This other title has enjoyed a highly successful spell in the gaming industry and there are growing speculations on a sequel in the makings.
The biggest hint on RDR2 development came from Feinstein. The senior engineer who once worked for Mac Payne revealed on his LinkedIn profile that Rockstar is working on a popular IP.
Having disclosed that information, the fans ran amok as they tried to figure out the next big thing to come from Rockstar. Titles like Bully and Manhunt are all tipped to get a sequel. Also, there is the subject of GTA 6 but it was turned down because the timing is too soon.
The perfect title that Feinstein was referring to is RDR2. The game is similar to a GTA game in so many ways. However, the series is set during the age of the gold rush era where all the attention is on the cowboy state of Texas.
With the leak came a rumour which suggests that RDR2 will be released in autumn this year. It will be the first title from the franchise to debut on the next-gen consoles. As such, it is safe to assume that RDR2 will feature a highly-detailed graphics and plenty of new features to try on.
