A recall of the 2015 Audi Q3 has been announced by Volkswagen of America, due to on one occession the vehicle may not stop whatever its doing even if you were to switch it off. If you shut down the vehicle whilst the sunroof is closing then the sunroof may continue closing. The chance of this happening conflicts with federal standards when it comes to roof panel systems and up to 3,646 examples of the Q3 built between April 4, 2014 and November 5, 2014 are affected.
Customers are required to bring their vehicles to their Audi dealer where the sunroof control module will be updated at no charge. More details on this can be found in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin below.
